Happy Holidays

Happy New Year!!!! I hope everyone had an excellent Christmas and enjoyed their New Year’s Eve.

My Christmas was pretty good. Christmas eve, I met up with a friend for lunch at Jack Astors. Then I came home and got ready for church. The service was very nice. I go with my neighbour and her family every year, but this year it was only me and her, as her children were all heading home or at another church. After the service, I went back to my neighbour’s house to hangout and have fun. My parents and sister joined as well.

Christmas morning, we got up at 7am and opened presents. Everyone was quite pleased with what they received. I received some clothes, money, chocolate, necessities and more. I also received the remainder of the Grey’s Anatomy Dvds. We had breakfast and then relaxed for a bit before heading to my Grampie and Lily’s house for dinner. We got to Barrie around 1pm and my cousin was there as well. We had a great dinner of Turkey, Roast, Ham, Potatoes, Corn, Carrots, Stuffing, buns and a variety of desserts. We left around 6pm, dropped my sister at her place and then came home.

I got the opportunity to go boxing day shopping for the first time. There were some great deals and then some things I got at regular price, but I was glad I bought them. I got a pair of jeans, 2 shirts, slippers, a pillow, toothbrush and a flip calendar.

New year’s eve was alright. I went to a friend’s house for a bit and then came back home and watched times square on TV.  Tomorrow, we are having Turkey again.

I can’t believe the holidays are almost over. They seem to go by so fast.

I wish everyone a very Happy New Year! Hope 2010 is full of enjoyment, laughter and exciting things :)

  1. Happy New Year Trav....I hope 2010 holds all the hopes & dreams you are looking forward to.

I think we had a great holiday, spent time with family & friends at different times, I guess you could say we dragged out the holiday season. Now it's over for another year, but we did create some good memories.

Happy New Year & all the best for 2010. I Love You <3
